Just because 2 fans died it doesn't mean Mackems like Geordies and it doesn't mean Geordies like them.

 
Clinging on to the deaths of those two fans (not supporters) is fucking pathetic. Using their death to make themselves look good just like Ashley's PR machine does. Spineless *****.
 
TBH most of the ***** from both sides are pavement dancers and will shit themselves if the coppers aren't there to `keep them apart'.
 
I agree with Vin. Looking at it that way it could be inspired policing.
Suppose just another example of the game changing, especially the changing fan profile for the police to even consider it.

That police chief is off his fucking head if he thinks everyone will be in a festive spirit. I've said a lot of time the police should let the charvers fight because most wouldn't show up if they knew the police were not there. That said most is not all and cowards will kick off against easy targets. I already know riot police will be there.

There will be police everywhere as usual just maybe not in the form of an escort.

There is no way on earth they'd just leave them to it as the chaos that would ensue would be blamed on Northumbria Police and heads would roll - unless of course this is the most eloborate resignation by a police chief in history.

No doubt there are wannabees and all mouths on both sides but with NP having basically advertised to the general public that they're relaxing on this one I can see a lot of the true nutters coming out of retirement for this one.

Was at the last Rangers Celtic derby and could not believe around 40 coppers walking around 8000 celtic fans up to the ground , no trouble at all just fantastic singing between 2 sets of fans , We thought all hell would break out
