Not yet signed a new contract for us has he ?

YMU are apparently a 'global entertainment agency'. They've got all the big stars, Graham Norton, Ant and Dec, Nicole Scherzinger and erm, Andi Peters.

Most of their football talent is American. McAtee and Evan Ferguson their big British Isles clients.

No m8 as I posted he’s only moved agencies they will probably want to see a return on their new recruit but moving to Liverpool daft as it sounds would be a backward step he’d be better off getting in our 1st team and progressing that way
 
As I remember it, Man City tried to sign him when he was about 13. Two of his team mates took the money and went. Ollie stayed. I just hope he can avoid bad injuries. Football can be a very rewarding career. It can also be frighteningly short.

It'd be a long pathway for Arblaster to break into Liverpool's team. He'd have to get ahead of the similarly aged Tyler Morton and Stefan Bajcetic for a start.

You couldn't blame a young player being dazzled by the interest though, a new agency agitating for a move doesn't help. Hopefully common sense and his love of the club prevails and he signs the contact we've offered him.

With him and brooks tied up hopefully that should save us some money down the line had high hopes for both these when I’ve seen them playing for the development sides

It'll not be long before both Ollie & Brooksy are gettin called useless and a waste of money on social media,just wait and see mi owd pal.I agree both have looked good when i've seen em in the academy sides but as we know that's a long way of from doin it at First team level,fingers crossed both of em do well for us.UTB
 
Important foundation block in place.

We could well decide to sign no midfielders in the summer.

Hamer / Souza / Davies / Brooks / Arblaster

^ That's an ideal selection. I'd probably accept this if offered, if it means keeping Souza and Hamer.

I just feel we need to make sure we have a good balance. Would like us to add Joe Rothwell to that group, or maybe O'Brien.

But if we don't sign any midfielders that at least simplifies our task and will enable us to focus on higher quality defenders and forwards.
 
Very good news. The longer the contract went unsigned the more fearful I was another club would sweep in leaving us with only a couple hundred grand in compo.

I like Arblaster's energy, quickness of thought and quality on the ball. I won't knock the amount of cards he got at Vale because it shows he wants to mix it up and he's not intimidated by seasoned pros.

Very much looking forward to watching the young man's development in a United shirt.
