Newcastle have made enquiries about signing Sporting Braga's Portuguese striker Eder, 25...Do we know anything about him ?
 
Hardly cheap, they value him at 16 million. Only had one good season at that's in the Portuguese league.
 
Just had a look into the Braga number 17 . 13 goals in 18 games for Braga. 5 caps for Portugal and no goals . Strike rate for previous clubs looks poor (12 in 83 and 11 in 41). Has played for Braga in the Champions league and got a couple of assists . On youtube there's some footage of him playing some great balls and looks like he'd be the more creative of a front pair but I would look like Pele on youtube.

If someone had videoed me at the park on Saturday playing football with the bairns then you could have got great footage of some quality passes, great skins and raking 35 yarders in the corner.

Aye well your bairns often run rings around you Toony don't they ? Know full well the dangers of scouting via youtube (Albert Luque anyone? )hence the Pele remark .

No mate, we may all get older but the 'know how' doesn't disappear.

Just saying that the quality of opposition needs to be taken into account plus the fee makes it an absolutely no way.

We can get Carroll, Aubameyang, Bony, maybe even Lukaku for that and we know none of these are happening either because we just 'can't afford to compete'.
 
Laughing me head off here as for some reason I've a mental image of you like the competitive dad from Fast Show nutmegging 7yr olds and going over the ball and stuff.
