On Sutton’s Forum, they are saying Smith was their best player and the only one capable of playing in League One so that looks like a very savvy bit of business by us.

Agreed - watching highlights it looks like he’ll balance Erhahon out quite nicely. Perhaps a little less all action and everywhere compared to Virtue though.

Know nothing about the lad but a quick look indicates very highly rated by Sutton fans and clearly had a standout season last year. Looks a good fit alongside Ethan. Great to see such a positive signing early doors.

As I mentioned in the rumour thread, he looks to have a bit of Erhahon about him and looks to be a further shift from the short, lightweight types we've had in recent transfer windows.

Seems to have an eye for goal as well.
