What album changed , affected , influenced you .
I’m seventy this September so I have a vast array to choose from I’m pleased to say , but .....
If I have to pick one ?....

Fleetwood Mac . Rumours
Beatles ..... Rubber soul.
Pink Floyd .... dark side of the moon .
Genesis...... any album.
Dire Straits....ditto

Any thoughts..... I could go on and on
Eagles , Robin Trower , Led Zep , ....
 
For me these six albums were iconic when I hitched around Europe in the late 60's and Greyhounding my way around the States for a number of years in the 70's

In-a-Gadda-da-Vida - Iron Butterfly - 1968
John Mayall - Bare Wires - 1968
Michael Chapman - Window - 1970
Wishbone Ash - Argus 1- 1972
Eagles - Desperado - 1973
Bruce Springsteen - Born to Run 1975

I always hated Dire Straits. My wife loves them. She has slightly won me over in the last few years.

Ha ha . That’s on my list as one of three to be played when I kick the proverbial bucket . The other two are Comfortably Numb from the Pulse album and Stairway to Heaven but I might change that one . There are a few others in contention .

RD . The version I want played is off of the Nelson Mandela live concert . Absolutely amazing . About thirteen minutes of brilliant music :band2:
