Hanlon is out of contact in the summer, so like Eaves and Holy we will lose him for nothing, due to Scally not tieing them down to extended contracts when they showed promise

I don't think any of the mid-fielders covered themselves in glory - workmanlike yes but creative and penetrating? Not really. Several free kicks were wasted with training ground antics instead of a blast at goal and they seemed to drop off once West Ham scored. Apart from that and the ridiculous reliance on ineffective long throws, the lads done good.

Do you mean training ground routines like the identical free kick that created a goal for us against MK Dons ?
