Got chatting to him once in a gym in Chatham, I asked him ''Why do you use this gym & not at Priestfield''? AP replied, ''Wer'e a Championship team & dont have anything like that at the club.'' He added, ''But we do have excellent banqueting facilities though.'' This would have been around 2003,2004. Decent bloke and good player and now 83 grand better off.
