They had a cracking result in the League Cup didn't they? Let's hope that sort of nonsense is well and trully out of their system before the weekend! PUP PPU!

I'm sure Pompey are taking loads up, wasn't it Accy who said they could cope with any amount of fans Pompey could throw at them? I think a fair few saw it as a challenge!

Would love to be going to this but money has restricted me to one more away game this summer and we've chosen mansfield. At least I'll still see the game down the pub though!

in all honesty i cannot see if/when i am going to do an away game - exeter, torquay and plymouth do not really count when you live in devon do they!

just not 'feeling it' like i used to as far as how important away day travel is to me...nor can i afford it mind.

anyway, back to the game...

looking forward to it, just got to find somewhere to watch it on sky now!

Well let's hope we grind something out today. A point would be great.

Is a shame that even with a pre-season under our belt (a luxury in previous seasons) we are still bonding into a team. Next season we must keep the majority of the squad together.

Good luck Pompey & the blue army of fans heading up.

Here we go, Pompey's first performance of the season on air. Can the Blues impress this time round after a miserable opening day defeat to Oxford at Fratton? Following this 1-4 thrashing, came the 1-

yep, think its definitely a long-term view in mind we have to take these days. clearly the immediate aim, as per the business plan, is a place back in league one but ultimately getting this team to bond as one is needed and that is the long-term view we have to take...

regarding today tho, with all due respect to accy isnt it strange that we go into a game against them not 'expecting' to win - i wonder who would have thought that would have been the case a few years back.

hopeful we can get something to kick-start our season and will go for a narrow 2-1 win i reckon?

how did we not win that game?!

we had plenty of chances to do so but just did not take them and the defending... good lord what was that about again...

to be fair murphy scored a cracking opening goal but we were then ALL OVER the shop for a while after that and the equaliser should have been prevented.

hey ho, a point on the board at least eh but accy should have been soundly beaten in my humble...

I only listened to the game, but was disappointed with a draw, however an away point is always good when you only have a team of rejects & free transfers. I was very disappointed with Jed Wallace who seems a shadow of the Jed who played so well last season, I think Andy Barcham must be one of our best players at the present time. looking forward to next Sat. at Fratton Park again.

Wallace had a much better 2nd half, Barcham had their right back on toast but we still can't defend
Scoring 2 away from home and not winning is disappointing but ,although Accy are shite it is point but most teams will leave there with 3 of them based on todays showing
How we didn't is down to our calamitous defenders - send Devera on loan, get Bonzo in and get a loanee
I can't be the worst judge as i was pretty sure Mitch would get the goalies shirt and that Dan Butler was to be replaced
And they ran out of beer before the half time whistle sounded. quality management!!!!

Couldn't agree more. We should have won that.

Accrington will get beaten a lot this season.

Defending is terrible. Probably needs time, but the errors are basic.

But a point is good.

Well done Mart for drinking the bar dry. Good job!
