Do I sense he was slightly irked by MA's suggestion that his players were able to play without any expectations placed upon them.
 
To be fair I don’t think he was specifically referring to MA, who if I recall said something like many people think AS don’t have high expectations, but added that he doesn’t see them that way. I think it’s the perceived wider general expectation level for AS that Coleman is referring to because of the perceived relative size of the club and their gates. Funny, this season all league one clubs are relatively on a par when it comes to gates at the moment 🤔
 
More irked that they dropped points at home. Fair bit of scouse whining in there. Local reporter feeding him opportunities to crap on about the culture of AS and their ambition.

They controlled the game for 60 minutes and would obviously have gone on to win the game if the ref hadn't spoiled McConville's return. Obviously.

Would be an unbearable listen if they had won.

He's much more entertaining when they lose.
