1. Retain the back four from Coventry

Wharton-Wilson-Waterfall-Eardley

Despite conceding two goals, it looked a better unit than we have had all season, with Wharton playing an Eardley attacking role down the left. Wharton has the added advantage of being able to kick with both feet, which compensates for Wilson playing on the left side but being right-footed. Against Accrington's lively attack, they will need to keep everything very tight.

2. Retain the front three from Coventry

Coventry never got to grips with three very different strikers: the sheer strength and aerial dominance of Rhead, the boundless energy and running of Green, and the goal threat from the increasingly lethal Palmer. Same again, please.

3. Create a hostile atmosphere

Danny has emphasised the importance of the support a number of times in recent weeks. Accrington are used to playing at home in front of non-league atmospheres: every shout from the players ringing out clearly and a dog barking in the distance. A large and noisy visiting support can be intimidating, and they will not be used to the raucous Imps.
