U Una - there used to be someone who worked at my local shop called Una - very friendly lady

V - Vera, the wife of a life-long Miller living up in the North East

W Wendy - I know two Wendy's - one is the daughter of a friend (I also call her a friend too!) and the other is my hairdresser (though with an i at the end instead of a y!). There's also Wendy from my favourite ever book, Peter Pan
