City players have been accused of shoplifting (chicken), common assault, failure to maintain a black-out, match fixing, impersonation of a professional footballer, theft from the dressing room, probably thousands of vehicle related offences and worse! As the headline does not imply it was a current City player at the time I'll go with David Gilbert.
 
The use of the awful word 'soccer' suggests a US headline. Wasn't old Shrek Rooney locked up whilst he played over in the States for being a typical pissed up scouser a year or so back

1. The word soccer is by no means an Americanism. I was a regular reader of the magazine 'Soccer Star' in the 1960s, a magazine which was founded by Raich Carter in 1952.


2. All the headlines in these quiz questions relate to Lincoln City games or players.

Anyhoo.............Possibly Paul Casey who had if memory serves had returned to Boston when he got locked up
