I think he would be number 2 - I doubt they would get both Green and Ruddy, but Ruddy seems like an ambitious guy and I don't think his plan is to sit on the bench and play FA and Carling Cup games. He wants to play for England and play in the premiership - you'd think a team like Villa would be better they have aging GKs or Spurs who will lose Friedel and their number 1 always seems like he is ready to leave.
I was going to say if the papers are correct and Chelsea offer £10 million - would you be happy to accept that? We could then finally give Rudd his chance to be number 1.
Anyway lets see what happens.
