The thing is, its the whole top flight who are getting so much money that they all need to spend to compete with each other. It will be interesting to see the valuation of players sold between premiership clubs and bought from out side the premier league. I really can't see this deal being any good for anyone unless the owners take their cut early.
 
There should be more more emphasis on league placing. Just look at us. We finished 16th in the division and only earned 11% less from Premier League than the team finishing 6th.

It's far too much of a fat cash cow for just existing in the league, and it just encourages the Ashley model of just buying players to sell for a profit and just managing to stay in the league. Next season is going to be even worse too.
