    Here we go!

Right now, the grid is taking around 50% of its generation from fossil fuel stations. The inter connectors are producing more than wind…..that’s 25GW of wind turbines producing 2.5GW of usable power. Electric cars are no more the answer than petrol or diesel. What is needed is a new holistic...

    Here we go!

No you can’t win, and that’s really the point. Charge points may appear clean….the generation process isn’t. Nor is the recovery of the materials needed to make electric cars. They are though, both very much out of the public gaze.

    Here we go!

Long term and electric cars are not two terms I would use together. Unless the tech stops using precious metals or rare earth minerals, the environmental damage will continue and increase.

    Here we go!

Where does the power to charge your car come from Toms? Have you seen the damage precious metal extraction/production does to the environment? The stuff needed for the batteries? All you have done is move the problem somewhere else.

    Forest vs PGMOL

One at Taunton Dean Services (Northbound). Seems to work well. Appreciate that the Civil Service are probably not operating Taunton Dean Services!!

Definitely the cheap ones, and Rochester Red is spot on.

    Here we go!

They are Rigger Boots….cost £34.99 in Screwfix. Riggers are a bit like the Chelsea tractor. Useless for what they do but give an impression you can do a bit of manual work…..banned on most industrial sites for lack of ankle protection and an unerring ability to funnel debris (hot debris is not...

    Game week 34

Whilst all the (media) focus is on Attwell, what about Taylor? VAR may have not asked him to review, but the fact he missed 3 clear penalties is bizarre for a ‘top’ referee. It’s not the first time with him either. I was a season ticket holder for 40 years, traveled away when I could. I have...

    FFP charges?

This is such a mess. The only way I see that this is not going to end in court is if Everton or Forest are either relegated or survive by more than the points that have been deducted. In Forest’s case I can’t see that happening.

At least Maddison had a bit of fight about him. Precious little was shown from Forest in the second half. Awful performance again.

    The Premier League 2023-24 Thread

That's what my kids said . Maybe I had low expectations, but both journeys were excellent. Probably helped by being surrounded by geriatric French people. They just slept a couple of hours longer than they normally would in the middle of the day so it was a very peaceful flight. Previously been...
