JoMU - the state they are in

I expect the rag boards are alight with joy and banging on about revenge.
An example……….

“Not just a thrilling game but another win for football, after heroics from Real Madrid and Atalanta this week. Now there is a fighting chance of someone other than City winning the FA Cup, and thus breathing life into the bruised, floppy body of the beautiful game.”

Well the author of that prose is not going to win a Booker Prize any time soon.

“Heroics from Real Madrid”. Delusional.

They scraped through by the skin of their teeth and with the assistance of VAR whose decision about which frame to use to deny Coventry the winning goal was crucial.

Guaranteed - that goal was scored by the rags and chalked off……we wouldn’t hear the end of it.

I am losing count of the number of campaigns we have launched for the rags to retain their garbage managers……but here goes…

He’s doing a fab job.

‘It is the end for Ten Hag - there is no coming back'

If we get rolled in the cup final he can say two pots in two years and hope to cling on, a proper player clean out could bring them back to life, but many are not wanted by other clubs with their wages. Long may Eric stay in the role, a top manager.

Officially now a Mickey Mouse Club.

Suffice to say some of their fans are less than impressed.

“would include extensive interview time with Ferguson”

,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,they just have to ask Fergie about “Not in my lifetime”

Rags defeat relegation threatened team. Erik saves his job. Until the next game. The on/off work on his statue resumes. For the time being.

They’ve got very easy games left.
The stonemason's jobs could be secure then as the Footballing Leviathan that if JoMU steamroller over relegation threatened sides to burnish their end of season myth of 'being competitive'.....

Well I don't want City rolling over for them so he can keep his job by winning the FA Cup Final

Maybe the over paid players can have a wip round for the poor staff, only one ticket each, and pay for the coach, the poor lambs.

Given the expenditure that a club has and especially the wages of the players this seems like a little bit of peenny-pinching round the edges. I expect the photocopying budget will have been slashed as well.

Maybe the directors are all taking a pay cut but keeping it quiet?

Erik the Red takes a pop at the pundits, maybe on his way out the door.

Although he is right - pundits have short memories PLUS the football being played under Fergie was often not that thrilling (buoyed up as they were by his intimidation of officials) - there are rose tinted glasses and then there is his view of the current team:-

“one of the most dynamic and entertaining teams in the league'”

 :shake:

He was the pundits to say nice things, but these ex players played in a side which swept all before them won 13 premier titles and it hurts to see them like this Roy Keane a prime example that he sees the JoMU now as a really poor team and given the amount of income that comes into the club, it should not be in this state.

i read recently that Radcliffe has earmarked 5 players but surely they will have to comply with these new rules of staying within the guidelines because they cannot afford losses and they don't have any player in the side to sell which is going to bring in mega money.
