Ups and Downs

They can also hit 100 points if they win both games, and have only lost 4 games all season - that is a new club record, but will not be if they lose both games. However, it is easier said than done - for instance, Lincoln failed to win a single game after winning the title in both 2017 and 2019.
A bit like Chesterfield this season!

A big thank-you to agents Robson & Garrick. Time to review our plans for the likes of Salford etc
Hopefully the last we'll see of them in the football league (the team, not Garrick or Robson). It would be nice if Fleetwood could do a village....or go one better and go bust. To be fair to Salford, they do seem to be getting there - the more they spend the worse they get.

I've said it before, having lived in and around Salford for the best part of seven years I literally never once met a supporter or saw a shirt. I didn't even know where the ground was until I went to one of our pre season friendlies there. Absolute joke football teams, distorting the over spend in the EFL nearly as badly as the scum like Bolton and Wigan.

Absolutely , Chesterfield have lost every game since promotion.

Chesterfield's season has been extraordinary:

First 31 games: P31 W26 D2 L3 F76 A36 Pts80 PPG: 2.58
Last 14 games: P14 W4 D3 L7 F26 A27 Pts15 PPG: 1.07

2.58 PPG equates to 119 over a whole 46-game season, which would be easily a new English record for the top five divisions.
1.07 PPG equates to 49 over the season, which would have seen them relegated to National League North.

In those 14 games, they have lost to strugglers York, Wealdstone, Dorking (relegated) and Kidderminster (relegated). In fact, they have conceded 8 more goals (63) than Kidderminster (55) this season.

That is no way to enter the EFL, they have some serious problems to overcome if they are to even survive next season.

Fleetwood are pretty much relegated anyway but it will be confirmed if they fail to win and even if they do, they're relying on Cheltenham failing to win and Burton losing.

Could be the end for Vale as well if results don't go their way.

Stoke vs Plymouth tomorrow, which is a biggy! And the added twist of Schumacher up against his former side. Blackburn vs Wednesday is another huge game on Sunday.

We definitely want Cheltenham to fail to win - or draw, nothing other than a loss will do for the Robins, please, Fleetwood can live for a little bit longer.

Barnet, Bromley, Altrincham, Solihull, Gateshead, Halifax in the National League play-offs. Anyone but Barnet would be a nice change.

Sutton concede in extra time to be almost certainly doomed. Colchester safe baring 3 loses to heavy defeats and a Sutton last game of the season win.

Doncaster come back from 0-2 down to win 3-2 and go 7th. Adelukan gets another.

That is, until the Crawley goal that sinks Sutton takes them above Doncaster on goal-difference.

Huddersfield battered, Birmingham picked up a point. Big win for Stoke against Plymouth, QPR are playing at the minute.
