Watkins plays in a different way on the shoulder. Southgate isn’t a good enough coach to adapt so Toney is a better fit.

I don't see it as either/or with Watkins and Toney. Both have something to bring to the party and I think that barring injury, both will be going to the Euros.

And I have to say, I'd rather we had Toney in a penalty shoot out than Ollie.
