Great team performance. If only we had finished some of those other chances and chalked up a big big win, which we’re overdue. Most of the team were MoM in one way or another, but Elbo was always a threat and gets my vote.

Poor chap. Must hurt seeing your team destroyed. Could have been seven or eight with better finishing. We shall face a stronger opponent in the league though.

2-2, and defeat on penalties, leaving us free to concentrate on the league.

For all their early possession, Posh didn’t create any clear cut chances though. We, on the other hand, had good chances on the counter that were wasted. Another day, we may have won comfortably; it’s all whats, ifs, and maybes ...but we were well worth a point, and arguably three.

As an Imps supporter, I take nothing for granted! Not even eight points. But I’m cautiously optimistic at the moment. 😉

Strange half. We woke up in the last ten minutes, but otherwise Posh look sharper in thinking and movement. That said, we have created four great chances and should have had at least two goals if our players had looked up and squared the ball instead of trying to blast the net off.

Get Bridcutt off. He’s a liability.
