To be fair I think Toney suits England better. Watkins is great for us but we have a fantastic manager who coaches the entire team into how to create the best chances for Ollie Watkins specifically… England don’t have a good coach so someone like Toney who is more of a brute force striker and not having to worry about any tactics is going to work better.

Konsa has looked OK but made to look stupid by that second goal, stuck in no man’s land thanks to Dunk’s mess, unfortunate I’m not sure what Konsa could have done either give the space to Lukaku or give the space to Tielemans, just got stuck in the middle.

Always felt that too, Southgate is pure Steve Bruce, he'll coach the teams defensive shape but they're on their own in attack.

The easy thing to say is Ollie needs to be told what to do but it's probably more a case of the team needing to understand how to play to his strengths. And he also needs to understand how he fits in the team. Unfortunately, too many lads take too long on the ball or are too greedy when they should be looking to play Ollie in.

Another funny thing to me is how many crosses England try and play and how often you get fullbacks in those positions. Yet Southgate won't play TAA who is the best crosser of the ball.
