The Premier League 2023-24 Thread

Our front 4 will have an absolute field day with them - Bournemouth just kept hitting it over the top on the wings and got in every time.

Elanga hatrick

They have fight and are picking up points. They are defying the tag they were given as relegation favourites and fair play to them. We have a squad that shouldn’t be anywhere near this position but the fact that we are there has people questioning whether we have what it takes to survive.

The questions start being answered for real this weekend…
They have picked up the same points as us over the last 7 games.
Pretty much the same as all the bottom 6 teams.
They are nit defying the tag. They are in bottom 3 and are 3rd favourite to go down.

Why don't you and others on this forum try bigging up our team for a change instead of every opponent.

Luton confidence will be absolutely fucked after tonight.

Bournemouth taking quick free kicks and not running into the corners in injury time...they were killing me.

Where the f did 10 mins of injury time come from?

Morale busting for Luton and they looked tired...if we can't do it on Sat we deserve to go down.

Referee had a go at "play until Luton score" but they didn't.

That feels like someone has just given us three points. Absolutely vital.

First team since 2003/4 to lose from 3-0 up in the Premier League, and only the 6th ever to do so.

That is a really, really crushing defeat for Luton.

They are a side with great spirits and will do their best to shrug it off. But that is really crushing.

It's over to us now. Perform well, get a result one way or another and together with tonight we could bury them and kill some of that fight.

It's a shame we are in the position where we need to kill the fight of a club like Luton, but here we are
Down to us now - Luton will be devastated by that

That's the 1st leg of our treble gone in, we now need a sensible decision from the "independent" commission on Friday (if the decision does come Friday) for the second leg and a proper performance & result at Luton on Saturday to complete the treble which we really ought to get now, as surely that will have knocked the stuffing out of them tonight

Weirdly, I half expected it. Well, to be fair I expected Muff to level it but never to go on and win as they did.
I had 20 quid on Luton or draw at 6/4 , cashed out for £41 at 0-2 as thought Bournemouth might get a point from 2 down , wouldn't have thought it from 3 though.

The hope with Luton now is that they start to lose some of their belief and spirit. Recently they've still been giving it their all and pushing teams close but it hasn't been enough for them. How long can that carry on before they start giving up the fight?

On the other hand, they'll be looking at us as the perfect team to get a solid, confidence-boosting win on Saturday.

Really crushing defeat for Luton.

They really need a kind of side next up who will just lay down and die in order for them to restore morale......

And they'll probably be successful. We only ever do things the hard way.
