well the claim is we offered 4 rising to 5 mill with add-ons and will let him stay for the rest of the season - seems they want 15 mill, they signed him for 1 mill a few months ago and he's not exactly set that level alight.

Gonçalo Ramos is a real striker, a finisher. Saw him loads at Benfica, top notch. He has also done real good for Portugal. He is a top guy and seems to be on the periphery at PSG. With Emery/Monchi here and our current status it has to be worth a go. Even the gooners are allegedly after him. He is a goalscorer and lots more.

Almost certainly. I was expecting a player like him to arrive either this month or in the summer. A younger keeper who has played a lot of games at a lower level in either the EFL or a lower European league.

No he's more of a wide player that can play through the middle if necessary than an out an out forward like Duran based on everything I've read about him.

Yeah , but to be fair, most of the excitement is coming from the bizarre hatred of Duran and the desperation to get rid of him for some reason ( that reason being he is not Cameron Archer obviously) .

I think we're trying to bring wages down on fringe players.
At the moment we have the likes of Chambers, Olsen, Traore and to a lesser extent Dendonker all earning big money for doing very little. None of them have an potential for improvement.
If you could shift them all on and bring people like Rogers, Nedjlkovic and Valdimarsson in on a fraction of their wages you've still got the squad size for emergencies but you've also got players who could grow into first teamers eventually and the wage bill will be reduced.
My thoughts exactly. If under previous managers we'd of been linked to championship players we'd of had the usual " why are we after lower league players?"
But under Unai we trust him implicitly. How the times are a changing

Depends on how you spin stats, Some will say he's only scored 2 goals in 14 games and others will say he's scored 2 goals in 185 minutes the second figure working out to a goal a game.
One figure used to make him look bad and the other to make him look good but a blind man on a galloping horse can see he is a player for the near future.
