Same on Sky sports mate, John Terry mark two only it is actually Gerrard in charge this time and not as a no2.

Hopefully and I expect it to be the case all the players start equally and get non of this blatant favouritism that Dean had
 
I'm a sceptic but he gets my full support. Telling he's a 'head coach' rather than manager. Some people weren't sure so closure on that. Not that it's a surprise to me.

Get with the in words mate they are all Head Coaches, it's the buzz word like Low blocks and high press and my favourite "rest defending" which I think means passing it around the back four or as I call it fucking about at the back

Fo be expected really. The Celts were the same when Rogers left. They live their own little bubble universe where only each other exist. They genuinely have no conception as to why someone like Gerrard or Rogers would have ambitions beyond Scotland

Ok Gerrard almost certainly isn't winning the league with us but a trophy at Villa and a few European placed finishes will increase his standing as a manger more than winning a few titles with Rangers ever would.

Unconvinced by this appointment, but he's got my support as do all new managers/head coaches (apart from McLeish).

I don't give a monkey's how long his contract is for - the shorter the better if he bombs. But it's in his interests not to fuck this up or Liverpool will not be coming calling for him.

And on a point of order, far too many "Stevie G" mentions in this thread already. @sirdennis will not be at all happy.
