Apparently Blackett had a groin injury, so surgery to correct done today.... you'd imagine at least 8 weeks out, possibly longer.

Following Steve Cooper's mutually agreed exit from Swansea - there is speculation that Matt Grimes has asked for a transfer.
Not saying he's a target, but thought he looked good in the games against us - just turned 26.

Joined Como on loan for the season - another loan to buy agreement - prior club (Aris) did not take up the offer from last season.
Como were promoted to Serie B for this season, so be interesting to see how he gets on?

I've alluded to this previously, but do not rule out a raid on Barnsley - they've lost their manager and whilst (like us) they are mostly under no pressure to sell, some players are unsettled!!
Worrall or McKenna will put it in their pocket chap.

Maybe not but if Hughton is going to be backed we need a decent striker sooner rather than later. Not only is he decent but he will be pretty well known to our CEO. If the price is right then who knows?

not entirely our fault, we had about 4 players who can play there but it seems that Ribs n Loanou simply wanted out of the UK altogether and one has picked up an injury. So sure, we need a replacement and Im sure it will happen

Think hes valued around 3m, he's about a 1 in 4 striker in the championship
As well as Richardson able to play at LB, Jenkinson also played there for us last season and did OK. McKenna has also played LB in the past as has Colback. One of our strengths is we could probably play 5 CB with out any problem we are that well stocked. We could therefor revert to a back three and have wingbacks. Thus someone like Colback could play. Not ideal but something we could do for first six games before window shuts. Premiership level Players will become available as squads are announced and more become surplus to requirements in August. More we wait, better options appear.
