Btw. I've never said it was ok to be violent. Having an understanding as to why other people are is a completely different matter but certainly isn't support or approval. I assume you weren't referring to me then.
 
It's always made me laugh how the right are so quick to (laughably) attempt to take the moral high ground over the left when it comes to the issue of political violence. I mean, for a start, when it comes to violence of any kind there is often scarcely any moral high ground to be had anyway. The thought that what little remains might be occupied by the right is, frankly, quite fucking absurd.

Q. Why did some people riot last summer?
A. Because yet another black man was killed by yet another racist white cop. Same as it ever was, only this time caught on camera.

Q. Why did some people riot two weeks ago?
A. Because a narcissistic and meglomaniac loser president had a hissyfit and told them to!

BLM and Antifa are both organisations that have been founded as a response to fascism and racism. The clue is in their names.

This is in contrast with right wing groups such as Proud Boys and other white supremacist groups which have been founded to promote fascism and racism. Again, the clue is often in the name.

What's interesting here, is that in my mind, it was a simply a normally spoken phrase, "you're a fucking moron if you believe that video" with no shouting, no caps, no exclamation points etc. And yes, it is what I'd say to someone in person, because it's true.

You however read that, probably in your own voice, as a mad man screaming at the computer about how people are fucking morons, aaarrghh, which is borne out by you saying that you think I'd beat my wife and (non-existant) kids if I didn't take it out here.

I think that says a lot more about you than it does me.

Then his next job will be figuring out how he can help the 44 billionaires who helped finance his election campaign to the tune of 1.6 billion dollars.

Gonna be a difficult task - the measure of success might yet be the time taken to restore some calm. But, on the matter of Pardons & Commutations, I must admit to not realising the depth and scale of prerogative open to the outgoing POTUS. Not to mention the contrast between the political bequeath of the UK Premier, in influencing a dozen or so knighthoods, compared to that of the POTUS, in influencing several hundred night hoods !

Would have loved Sanders but he would have stood absolutely no chance. That's why I was glad they chose Biden as at least he "isn't Trump".

I know that's negative thinking but it's realistic. No way were the USA going to vote in someone who actually referred to themselves as being Socialist. As we've seen in the UK, a fan base of a few hundred thousand believers isn't enough (although Sanders came across as more competent than Corbyn).

At least the world's climate will deteriorate slightly less rapidly.

If you had said "someone who believed that video would have to be a fucking moron", then that is a potentially "suggested" insult towards Tarian, but it's not a direct insult.
