The Summer 2020 Transfer Rumour Thread

Ignoring that'll be balls then well if he wants to leave then he wants to leave.
Still needs someone to match our valuation and, as we're no longer owned by a potless chancer, then they'll be paying through the nose.

Buying good championship players isn't necessarily a lack of ambition if there are other more established players alongside that. I'd rather take Benrahma than the permanently injured Tuanzabe just because he's sat on his arse at Utd for instance.

be nice to get someone though eh

Put yourself in Jacks position. You go away on holiday for two weeks. During that time, you hope to see some signs of what probably the club as already said to him... ie we'll build around you so the team is strong enough to push on.

He comes back two weeks later and what's happened........... jack shit!!!!!!!!!!!

This just in

Man Utd transfer target Jack Grealish will hold crunch talks with Aston Villa chief Christian Purslow on his return from holiday. Grealish is keen on move to Old Trafford and wants to know interest will not be dismissed out of hand. Grealish also aware of Man City interest #MUFC
If Man City were interested why would Jack be interested in Man U?

2 months until the window closes, nobody has signed anyone yet they are all waiting for someone to crack and start the chain. It will all happen in the last week it always does. There are two ways of sorting it out do away with windows or make the windows finish at the start of the season and even then it will still happen in the last week.

If that's so, why do we have to wait for everyone else. As I've already posted some days ago, we are in need of reinforcements more than, say a top 6 team etc.

So let's not wait, let's be the club to start the ball rolling...............

Because clubs will hold onto their better players in case a bgger bid comes in. We will do the same with Jack.

We had all this bollocks last year and the year before and so on, we are not top of the food chain that's why.

Yeah, but we only want a bit of frying steak, not prime Scottish sirloin.

Or, we're not in for Sancho, we're talking the likes of Watkins, Benrahma etc Can't see Manure in for them.

That's just it we don't know who we are in for or even if we plan to spend any money it's all hearsay,

100m is a figure made up by someone outside the clu, clubs never admit to any figures, even the signings are undisclosed
80m for Jack is made up, as he isn't for sale

but it's become gospel o some fans or probably the majority

Some transfers can take 6 months to complete , some can take 6 weeks. Don't forget we didn't know what division we were playing in until just over 2 weeks ago , so getting the ball rolling regarding potential targets is going to take longer than that.

Who knows we may have them all sorted but say signing Watkins for instance may depend on Brentford sorting out a replacement first.

The problem with Sarr is Watford paid £30m for him not that long ago.

Most clubs looking to sell a player for profit based on a recent valuation are likely in for a shock this window IMO.

That's the real clubs and players in the real world of course, not the fantasy top six PL clubs and players.

If there aren't a dozen EFL clubs in administration by Easter I'll be amazed.
