So, whadda we gonna moan abart?

Anyone watch the govt press conference this afternoon ?
The irony of spending best part of an hour telling the country to keep 2 meters apart whilst the pm and 2 advisors had adjacent lecterns and spoke in front of a raft of journos who were sat side by side was not lost on me..... .!

Think if you were to ask the French and German indigenous folk you would get the same "xenophobic" / realistic answer !
If they are so "valued" in France (seen the state of Calais ?, been to Department 13 ? and Germany where the tide has clearly turned since Frau Merkels crazy open door decision then why would any wish to come to our racist country at all 🤔

It could be because unscrupulous corrupt english employers employ them on a pittance with no questions asked.

I can see where you're coming from, folk also need to accept just a little personal responsibility.

There have been some absolute bell-ends on show - hoarding, stripping shelves, packing out shops, swarming all over the place, refusing to stop going to gyms/pubs, etc, etc.

The problem is that Johnson himself didn't believe the warnings in the early days (still shaking hands etc). Now, he's trying to act as a mate rather than an authoritative figure.

On the other hand, though he started off as a complete tool, Hancock is gradually getting (slightly) more impressive on a daily basis.

So long as they keep Raab out of the way!

Modern day slavery is rampant. Labour is undervalued and exploited, because of global population growth....need to be adjustments made i.e. profit maximization should not be the key determinant of resource allocation.

Oh, I agree, but he's looking slightly less startled now.

It was said though, when Johnson announced his cabinet that he was very short on real talent and experience.

It could be worse. We could have "pork markets" Truss telling us what to do!

I tell you what, Michael Gove has been very quiet these last few days. Judging by his wife's outburst on twitter, he's at home, getting under her feet. :oops:

As for Diane, well, (as a helpful indication), Richard Osman has declared that he's two metres tall, ...,. and Diane's now kidnapped him, so she can take him everywhere.
