Brown Sacked By Swindon

His record at Swindon is very poor:

League Two:
P27 W7 D11 L9 F31 A33 Pts32 (1.18 points per game)

That equates to just 54 points over a full 46-game season.

Not quite what Mr Power was expecting.

It sounds like they have a replacement lined up, with an announcement in the next day or so.

Gary Bowyer may fancy a shot at it.

Brown's career has been on a terminal slide ever since he sang on the pitch after dull stayed up in the prem.

They won at the weekend, and in the week put in for planning for a huge new training centre. Sounds to be a done deal.

They have also recently started a "Former Players' Association" and are trying to get more of a community feel into the club. Not sure where these ideas may have come from.

No major cup run to fund it though and the Cowleys to sustain it!?

Not sure what some chairmen expect...

Lge2 is VERY competitive this season and not all that much between many of the teams. We're top for a few more days but not CLEARLY ahead of the rest...could easily be a dozen or more clubs bidding genuinely for top seven.
