It’s a really unedifying situation for both sides in this.
Rubiales was also chastised for grabbing his crotch in celebration in the stadium's VIP area close to Spain’s Queen.
It will be very interesting to see how it pans out.

His position is untenable (& his attitude stinks) - it is a question of when not whether he will be removed. The Spanish football authorities are not covering themselves in glory in how they are dealing with this.....and that is the root cause of the problem IMO.
