Lewis Montsma was imperious in his first competitive fixture for the Imps. He hardly put a foot wrong and was a clear influence on the two younger players on the flanks at the back, supporting them and encouraging them. He played the ball out with confidence, much better than last season's efforts by others and attacked the ball well when in the opposing box as evidenced by his brilliantly taken goal.

A solid, all-round performance from a future fans' favourite. Well done, Lewis.
