Millers fan and former World Cup Referee Howard Webb says that Premier Refs are 'hurt' by recent criticism of their performances.
There have been some poor decisions of late, and we've all seen them over and over again on TV, by some Premier Refs - Martin Atkinson for one who should have sent off Ashley Barne's of Burnley after an atrocious tackle on Chelsea's Matic while Roger East appeared to send off Wes Brown for a tackle John O'Shea had made (I shan't point out the obvious difference in the players).
Webb says that the eighteen Select Group of Refs are affected when they make mistakes and often need support to rebuild their confidence.
