Mansour bin Zayed bin Sultan bin Zayed bin Khalifa Al Nahyan was born on 20 November, 1970 in the Trucial States (now United Arab Emirates).
Mansour, has two wives, Alia bint Mohammed bin Butti Al Hamed and Manal bint Mohammed Al Maktoum. He has five children, Zayed, Fatima, Mohammed, Hamdan, Latifa.
Media reports within the UK suggest Sheikh Mansour has a personal fortune of around £20billion.
His Royal Highness is the fifth of 19 sons of the founding father of the United Arab Emirates.
In 2008 The Sheikh bought Manchester City for £210 million.
Sheikh Mansour rarely visits the UK, or if he does the British media fail to pick up the story.
Late last year Sheikh Mansour apparently sold 13% of the City Football Group.
