The view was fine but I felt Colchester's stadium couldn't keep any noise in and sucked the life out of the crowd. Maybe the game contributed, but our singing at its highest volume was nothing like at Port Vale, yet there were the same amount of Imps. You could hardly hear the Colchester fans. Kinda soulless. Zero wind protection, sun in the away fan's eyes, 30-40 minute walk to train station and next to nothing in between.

Not a model for Lincoln City FC.

Sun in the away fan's eyes is of course something that can be moaned about but not really something you can moan about the stadium for unless you want 3 sided stadiums.

As a stadium designer I would probably be looking at the home fans getting the "non direct sun" sides anyway.
