I will be very surprised if his ban isn't extended. This is Newcastle we are talking about

The ban shouldn't be extended because as soon as Tonali found out that he was being investigated, the betting stopped plus he allegedly sought help with an addiction not to mention get a worldwide ban.
If it is extended then it opens a massive legal can of worms due to the number of football clubs being sponsored by betting firms not to mention the EFL leagues being sponsored by Sky Bet.
It would be morally wrong to continue to punish when there's all this fanfare over peoples mental health nowadays and regardless of getting a hundred grand a week or whatever Tonali gets but to disallow a person from doing their job, it would border on discrimination.
