In an open and honest interview with the Chronicle, he said: “We’re one of those clubs where we’re liable to lose one of our great players to a Champions League team through finance – and sometimes the will of the player.

“You can’t keep a player who doesn’t want to stay.

“Having said that, it’s going to be very difficult for any club to get a player out of here unless it’s a serious or big bid.”

Why can't he just keep his mouth shut. You don't get this from any other club except Newcastle. Basically anybody who wants a player, can come and take one of ours. Just shows how this club is now run, profit first and fuck anything else.
 
I'm fucking sick of this. i never thought it'd happen but i'm slowly starting to fall out of love with my Football club, all because of the endless shite that comes out of it. recently my passion for Newcastle has started to dwindle away. wish Pardew would just fuck off. and a manager with some passion came in, how can the fans possibly have any passion or belief with this arsehole in charge?
 
And if Cabaye stays it will be like a new signing. Yawn. The bloke has no backbone or morals and is a fucking coward. His family must be ashamed of him.

Those two or three top players will be filtered down to hopefully one over the line by end of August.

Definately SPB. Just look at last season, there was a clear link between the number of players we needed, and the amount of time left in the transfer window. As the amount of time left dwindled, so did the number of players we needed, regardless of comings or outgoings. Will be the same this year no doubt. What we really need is one person out, one in, I.e Pardew out and a good manager in.

I'm past that stage already.
Since Lisbon ive only looked for the results after the match,nothing more.All the passions been drained away by negative football,a mouthpiece of a manager,a casino manager without a clue & a fat owner whos milking his cash cow.
I take no pleasure in saying we were right on here,i'd have loved nothing more than Pardew to have another good season & Ashley to give things a good go.
But no,we're still stuck in the land of no communication apart from the media darling they can play in any direction they see fit.
When did it all come to this? Fans being played for fools & the majority just sit and take it.
Forgive me Mr Ashley but a fresh tin of paint on the Gallowgate roof is not quite enough to appease me or any others.

Would Mr Marshall & Miss Taylor like to do a q&a with us?

Have they actually painted the roof then? And if so, is it because it's going to be replaced by a massive Wonga logo?
 
Aye, there was a shot in the chronicle earlier where part of the shite direct signage was no longer there. As far as I'm aware it's going to be a blank roof again, as Wonga aren't actually using the stadium naming rights to push themselves. They'll get enough advertising from all the people who waste their money on the shirts.
