So, Sunak says: his post- Brexit deal meant Northern Ireland was the world’s “most exciting economic zone” with access to both EU and UK markets. Critics online were swift to point out that the entire UK had full access to the EU’s “exciting” single market before Brexit.

Is he wrong? Is he lying? Is he stupid? Is he a turncoat? ... or is he right? ... in which case, why on earth wouldn't he get the same deal for the rest of the UK?

Anyone? The silence is deafening.

Well, it seems that the DUP and the ERG don't believe him anyway.

I kind of get the DUP voting "no", as it splits them away from GB. Then again, they voted for Brexit in the first place ... what the hell did they expect to get?

As for the ERG ... Cash, Francois, Rees-Mogg, Bridgen, Chope, Coffee, ... bloody puddled the lot of 'em.

Absolutely brilliant news this ... the deal gets through (with Labour support) and the ERG (together with the DUP) continue to be thorns in the government's side, niggling away until they inflict a fatal wound.
