There was a discussion recently about Lincoln based band The Cigarettes on here.

Well, on 6Music this evening they are playing a number of tracks from an old session by The Cigarettes. Unfortunately, at this stage I'm unable to tell whether they are talking about the Lincoln band, or the band from Indiana...

It is the Lincoln band - they just played 'Frivolous Disguises' from a 1980 John Peel session.

As mentioned The Cigarettes were good band . I saw them a few times around the City Should have made it but were split between post punk /mod revival ...should have gone Mod revival ...
