Takeover agreed

Alan Hardy has agreed to buy Notts and will pay HMRC so things are starting to look a lot better than it did Saturday evening.

Something drastic needed to happen and it needed to happen quickly. Hopefully, this will kick start our season and get us moving back in the right direction. It would be nice to just start enjoying going to Meadow Lane again.

I feel sorry for Joseph Molloy who has been an absolute gentleman and it would have been fascinating to see what he would have brought to Notts but I wish Alan Hardy all the very best.

I hope Hardy has a bit more nous and patience than Trew. I suspect he will spend less but probably get more from his investment.
Poor old Ray was part unlucky but serially useless.

The cost of buying the club has risen to around £5 million but thankfully Alan Hardy hasn't been put off and will ensure that everyone is paid on time this month even though the takeover won't be completed until early January.
