To be fair, most of that rounding would be upwards. With the introduction of contactless payment, it is of decreased relevance...

Sugar tax will account for much of that I'd imagine.

As it's post-mix it cost around 4p a pint in 1999. Now allowing for inflation and just a guess I think it's about 12p. Whack it up by 50p and you get more profit easily.

The sugar tax doesn't apply to diet drinks...So everyone is a loser in that sense.
