Shareholding meeting today and optimism

I didn't make the meeting today but here are some stats which I believe were quoted.
Sponsorship income 99% up
Advertising income up 128%
Merchandising income up 1680%

How sensational is that?! In addition to this, the game next week has sold out completely! :1:

To be fair, it was a very low base to compare to. The previous regime couldn't have run it any worse really.

agreed, the figures to compare against are slightly misleading but even so it is great to see such an increase - arguably more importantly will be how these figures stack next season...

if they continue to rise that will be incredible, but its if they start to drop too much we need to be slightly concerned. of course some tail-off can be expected but so long as its 'within reason' and the budget reamins sensible we will be fine.
