is this another Rivers type signing, its not what we need right now. Blackpool Football Club can confirm the signing of Radcliffe Borough striker Raul Correia for an undisclosed fee.

The forward, 22, moves to Bloomfield Road on an initial 18-month deal, with the club holding an option to his extend his contract by a further year.

He joins on the back of scoring 11 goals in 22 games for the Evo-Stik First Division North side this season and is relishing the opportunity of stepping up into professional football.

I think Bowyer is far better at identifying players than McDonald was. I know someone who has seen this player a few times and he says he got some pace and skill. It remains to be seen whether he can make the step up. Experienced players like Philiskirk have certainly not made an impact
