for the cowleys, it is their career. they have a plan for everything it seems. the time for leaving is most likely already pencilled in...

atm, they are still learning and progressing with us [one summer window. one jan window, 8 months of efl football]. the club need to keep supporting them, and progressing, to keep them learning, progressing, and interested alongside us here.

I agree with all the posts since my last one on this thread. I suppose all fans try to rationalize their hopes in this way when a great manager's tenure is under threat. I recognize that Danny and Nicky will not be here for ever and after 46 years of training I hereby submit my request to be admitted to the Society of Half Empty.
