Is that Harold Bishop from Neighbours on 'photo 16?

Bez will like the purple goalie kit (well, she might just like the goalie actually!)

Can't be many teams have a castle view from the pitch.

Nice ones Zip!

I went up and had a walk round the courtyard of the Castle....i didn't go inside as it cost £8....beggar that.
Could see the Ground through the trees from outside the Castle.
Really nice friendly place....i went in one pub which looked a rough hole and the barman looked a right thug and had a scar right down the side of his face, but he couldn't have been more friendly if he tried.....spoke to me as if we'd been friends for years.
Appearences very deceptive there.
Nice brekky in Wetherspoons when i got there just before 10, a good walk round the city centre and a nice chilled out sit outside a pub for an hour and an half full of Darlo fans, again very friendly peoplle....i asked one of them to watch my drink while i went to the loo and later on in the Ground he recognised me and came up talking Football for 5 minutes....he wasn't exactly a fan of our beloved Manager, but he wanted Millwall to be relegated more than us, so that's good enough for me ha ha.

Oh, and yes, he does look like t'old Harold Bishop doesn't he.
I went to the Ground at 11.30 to see what there was there, regarding Programmes, social clubs, catering etc, and once again a very helpful bloke in the portakabin which has Office on the front told me that nothing opens at the Ground till around 1.30 to 2.00.
He took time to give me a complete run down of facilities and things inside, and although he looked very busy with his paperwork, he seemed more than happy to answer my questions and queeries.
Trevor Sinclair wished the Millers well for the relegation battle when i told him who i supported.....he thought i was a Darlo fan at first and seemed a genuinely nice bloke.
Only one little incident threatened to spoil the day......5 young Lancaster fans in their late teens must've been having words with a large Darlo fan in his late 20's near the end, as the Darlo fan went after them at the final whistle right in front of me as i was leaving the ground...one of the young lads still had half of his pint left and after trading insults and threats (you know, the mega pathetic arms open wide come on then stance) the Darlo fan knocked the lads pint from his hands and all over him....the Darlo fan got escorted out by a steward while the lads kept shouting insults......grow up for gods sake.
But overall an excellent day out and a ground and City i'd thoroughly recommend anyone to visit.......Ground just round corner from Train Station, what more could you want.

Good you enjoyed your day, Zip

There's always someone to spoil the day isn't there

I hate that 'come on, come on' thing - you know who we were talking about after the game on Wednesday night did it somewhere we went and the stewards had words with him about it.
