Petition - Save Our Bell End

Thousands of people have backed a counter-petition to save a street called Bell End after calls for the "rude" road name to be changed.

There is some stiff opposition to the name change, I hear.

I hope they keep it up.

The beauty here JPA is I think the petition to save Bell End has more votes that the petition to change the name.

So the whole idea may be a little limp now.

Were as, the "Keep Bell End" has nearly 5,000...... says it all really.

Sandwell Council "have no plans" to change the name.

Thank goodness, I will be able to sleep at night again safe in the knowledge there will always be a bell end in the Sandwell area.

I can confirm there are quite a number of bell ends in the Sandwell area.

Manchester City were going to rename the stands in the Ethiad to reflect a golden age at Manchester City, Francis Lee, Colin Bell and Mike Summerbee were all having stands named after them, plans were scrapped when they realise that City would traditionally spend the first 45 minutes of each game attacking the Bell end.
