Not one, but two players are being 'linked' with a possible move to Pompey this summer. One, according to sky, will even be travelling to Fratton tomorrow for talks?

There has been plenty of encouraging 'rumour' surrounding the futures of a number of the players that ended the season with Pompey last weekend.

Rumours about a good few - starting with the likes of <b><font color='#0E4FB0'>Patrick Agyemang</font></b>, <b><font color='#0E4FB0'>Therry Racon</font></b>, <b><font color='#0E4FB0'>Shaun Cooper</font></b> and <b><font color='#0E4FB0'>Simon Eastwood</font></b> - not only wanting to stay, but being close to agreeing, and signing, contracts with us is a potentially good and encouraging start!

Although it is also being said that a number of other players are being looked at, with it 'reported' that <b><font color='#0E4FB0'>Matty Blair</font></b> is heading to Pompey for talks about joining us?

The winger, who has been successful with York in recent times, is out of contract with them, but apparently is not being offered a new deal and will 'travel to the south coast club on Thursday' for talks...

Another player, according to what 'sky sports understands', that could be on the radar is <b><font color='#0E4FB0'>Solomon Taiwo</font></b>?

The former Dagenham and Cardiff midfielder has enjoyed a successful season in non-league with Luton, but a failure for them to have gained promotion this season could see him leave the club with Pompey credited with an interest for the would be free agent along with Bury and Hartlepool.

What a change it is to have 'transfer rumours' that could genuinely happen you feel, and they do appear to be transfers that would realistically fall within our budget to boot...

I think it will be a good while yet before any def. signings are made, no point in signing too many now when other better players might be available to us in the next few weeks.
 
i think it will be the opposite lorna - i think we will look to move early, free agents and loanees are ALL we will be getting...

we are going to try and keep what we have - some will get tempted away, others will be un-affordable and the free agents that do come up, that are affordable, will be snapped up ASAP. there is no benefit to be gained from waiting if they are affordable and what whittingham wants.
 
Well, its been a good start Patrick Ayemang has reportedly signed for 2 years. Hope it is all sorted in time for start of next seasons pre match training. :35:
 
pre-contract done, so when his deal with stevenage ends at the end of june he becomes ours at the start of july.

happy with this, and as many as 10 others could be close, 4 VERY close apparently...
