I am disappointed to lose this tie. Winning it four seasons in a row gave me a big buzz. Overall we have won the competition a total of 8 times, the same as the Dips. I would very much like to get ahead of them and have our club hold the record for victories and add that to our history.

The ease on fixture congestion and pressure on the playing squad though now that we are no longer challenging for it is the only silver lining.
