I’m just so happy with a clean sheet and was very impressed with his dominant display in the air and on the deck.

Sanchez was immense, Bale unadulterated class, N’Dombele was superb in midfield and (sorry Greavsie!) even Aurier was excellent today. Hard to choose but I think Bale’s class does it for me. Bale!

Sanchez was really good . Stood out in the back four , but I’ve gone for Ndombele . He was awesome today , run himself into the ground at the end . His work in between defence and attack was incredible .

I gave it to Sanchez who was extremely tidy today. There were a couple of others who ran him close but it was a great days work from the fella.

Sanchez, Bale was good but Sanchez won so many 50/50's, on another day (a normal one was for us lately) we would lose a couple of them and concede 2 goals.

Aurier, the best performance of the season, which went largely unnoticed. Mainly because he finely had some cover in front of him and beside him, the one in front occupied them and the one beside him was almost faultless - amazing what playing off the front foot and meaning it does to mentality!
