His six-year ban ends on 8th March, 2024.
Heck, for some reason I had it in my head he got given 3 years.
To be honest, six is pretty harsh, I think.

It was 5 years ban for the 2 match fixing charges, deliberate bookings against Ipswich and Burnley and a further year for numerous other betting misdemeanours. He was also fined £3,725 and ordered to pay costs.

It was a really bad spell in his life, he also picked up two driving bans and a conviction for assault around the same time.
Those deliberate bookings still grate with me, they could have cost us so much if he had then been sent off or suspended. I did consider not including him in the birthday roll, but he also gave us lots of positives as well.

On a brighter note, I see two of the finest Imps goalkeepers have adjacent birthdays, Mazza and the magnificent John Kennedy.
Some might add Matt Dickins to that but I never saw him play for the Imps.
