It was like sombrero heaven!

I was saying that it's over forty years since I was last at Elland Road and it was alien to me but I do seem to remember the Old Peacock pub.
 
My 13th visit today, but the first in 10 years.
We went in 2 Limousines last time out and parked behind the Old Peacock Pub.
Pukka took me half a dozen times in the 70's....my first ever game was Leeds v Everton in August 1973....plus i met Brian Clough and Bobby Robson for the only time at Elland Road in the early 80's.
Seen 4 Testimonials there for Peter Lorimer (1977) Eddie Gray (79) David Harvey (80) and a joint one for Bobby Collins and John Charles (88).
Plenty of memories over the years.
 
You'll have seen some changes too!

My last game there was a cold January night in the early 70's in the cup replay
 
Been there a few times to see Boro, and once for a rock concert in 1982.
Last time i was there , we won 3-0 - the season Leeds were relegated from the premier league (2004 maybe?)
