Our thoughts go out to Jimmy Greaves' family tonight after we are told he is in intensive care after suffering a stroke

He was due to be inducted to the Tottenham Hotspur Hall of Fame on 13 May at a sell-out ceremony at White Hart Lane

Always enjoyed listening to / watching him on Saint and Greavsie - always laughing and smiling!

Scored lots of great goals (we could do with one like him!) - my husbands favourite!

My old man says he was the best striker he has ever seen.

What I remember seeing of him, which has only been on TV, he just used to instinctively hit a ball - none of this fancy stuff and no passing it to someone else!
